1. I probably liked this film more than I should.  On the surface, it’s a film about 3 completely different males and their passion for birding, on the inside, it is still about those 3 males bonding over their fascination and the sacrifices they make (or don’t) to succeed and be the best, to be remembered.  There’s not a lot to it, but it definitely dragged on a little, it could have used about 20 more minutes on the cutting room floor as i found myself skipping around a bit.  It’s a decent new film to put on and watch the slight character development, but don’t expect as many laughs as you normally would from a cast like this.

yesterday sucked, at least I have this baby boy

i miss you, come see me :( we need another spaghetti/hangout night!

we do, we do! I will come back soon, there’s no hiding it. also, depending on how the next bit goes, there is a possibility (large) that I will be moving to the Asheville region again and pursuing my job there.
WHAT?!

has been on my mind for a while now…even if i have to give up drinking and smoking, i really am captivated by their beliefs.  idk-weird, random, high, thought.

considered it. my grandfather was one and made it seem super secretive and cool! i’m getting a freemason themed tattoo next month…

Wait, you aren’t allowed to drink and smoke as a Freemason?

My grandfather was a terrible Freemason then.

Were all of our grandfathers freemasons?  Also from my understanding the lodges are dry and smoke free but outside is of no concern.  Also I’ll never understand why anyone would want to be one, it’s not nearly as neat as it’s made out to be, not like I could anyway.

  4. So excited to spend a week in Chicago next month, and see some incredible people.

  5. Wes Anderson making a completely Wes Anderson looking film.  Will I watch it?  Of course.

When Animals Wish They Could Attack of the Day: 3-year-old Sofia Walker comes face to resin-bonded glass to face with Malik the lion at New Zealand’s Wellington Zoo.

Carnivore manager Paul Horton said Mailk has been known to get “a little bit stroppy,” which I imagine is Kiwi talk for “majorly pissed off that he has to spend his entire life trapped in a cage being mocked by little girls.”

I fucking hate humans.  Let the lion out, let him eat everyone.
